Sylvia Anne (Mandziuk) Wilson graduated from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, earning a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy.  She is currently the Director of a medical legal consulting firm, Sylvia A. Wilson & Associates Ltd., completing disability and functional capacity analysis, and preparing life care plan blueprints to inform cost of future care to assist the courts.  She has worked across sectors, cultures and populations, and with clients over the life span.  Her professional roles have been occupational therapy practitioner, clinical supervisor, department administrator, university professor, fieldwork coordinator, community development advisor, government research manager, health promotion program coordinator and medical legal consultant.  She has co-authored two Task Analysis textbooks published by The American Occupational Association Press for distribution as a teaching tool for students and practitioners.
